New Elementary School Groundbreaking

For the first time in over 25 years, a new elementary school is under construction in the Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) and F&H Construction is the builder!

On September 27, 2017, F&H Construction celebrated the groundbreaking of FUSD’s new elementary school which is scheduled to open in time for the 2019-20 school calendar year. Designed by Quattrocchi Kwok Architects, the school will “feature a state-of-the-art design that is sleek, modern and fresh, reflecting Silicon Valley creativity, innovation and future-building.”

The construction of FUSD’s new elementary school will compose of four buildings, associated surroundings and play areas to serve a maximum enrollment of 1,100 students in grades K-5. The buildings will have a total square footage of 97,631 Sq.Ft., and comprise of an Administration Building and Kindergarten (Building A), a Multi-Purpose Building (Building B), and two, 2-story buildings that will contain classrooms and a library (Buildings C&D).

This ceremonial groundbreaking is the first visible milestone in a long journey.” said FUSD Board of Education President, Ann Crosbie. As the builder of choice, F&H Construction looks forward in assisting FUSD in creating a friendly and stimulating environment for its future students!
