The St. Joseph’s Fun Run 2016

Not only does F&H build Spaces for Life, we also promote healthy living. The F&H Running Team started the New Year with a Fun Run For Wellness benefitting St. Joseph’s Heart Center’s Hybrid Suite Project, Stockton, California.

“The Hybrid surgical suite will be equipped to be both an interventional cardiac catheterization room and a cardiovascular operating room to provide both catheter-based procedures and surgical operations. The Suite will improve clinical efficiency and quality of care as well as offer new technologies like TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic ValveReplacement).” Read more about it.

Fortunately, for the team, the rain had stopped and the group exercised under a sunny sky.

The 5K course was held at the University Park and 500 individuals participated. Two of our runners even medaled! The team was thrilled to have been part of this event and the continuation of promoting healthy living. From the beginning of 2015 when the company embarked on this new healthy life style, through joining the local gym In-Shape and WeightWatchers, employees have lost close to 105 lbs. and are still losing weight. So, needless to say, the F&H team is fit for a busy new year to successfully build Spaces for Life!
