Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Kihei Charter School

F&H Construction finalized 2016 on the beautiful island of Maui with a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, December 30th for the Kihei Charter School. The Charter School will be the first of its kind in South Maui and will offer K-12 education to its bright and developing youth.

We look forward to starting off the New Year with the construction of the to-be three story 70,000 square foot Charter School that will consist of 55,000 square feet of educational and administrative space. The Kihei Charter School will be located on a 2.75 acre parcel in the Maui Research & Technology Park in Kihei that will accommodate 700 K-12 students. The building will also include 15,000 square feet of leasable commercial space in a separate building wing.

Along with Gene Zarro, COE of South Maui Learning Ohana, Morgan Gerdel (Architect) and Reenie McCormick (Project Designer) of Nishikawa Architects, Inc. we are actively working to develop the best possible Charter School that Kihei will offer.

F&H is excited and honored to be participating in the construction of the long awaited first high school campus in South Maui. We expect that the construction of the Kihei Charter School will be completed in the spring of 2018.
