F&H Construction Builds New UH Law School Building
As F&H Construction is nearing the completion of the new University of Hawaii at Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law Community Legal Outreach Center (CLOC) project the blessing ceremony and celebration took place on September 4, 2019.
This project was spearheaded by Project Manager Dan Blackburn, Project Engineer Nichole Alcantara, and Superintendent Brandon Weaver. F&H Construction would like to give special thanks to Associate Dean Denise Antolini and Construction Manager Ross Richards for giving us the opportunity to be part of this project which will immensely benefit the community at large.

A Maui general contractor is nearing completion for the construction on the long-awaited University of Hawaii Law School Clinical building on Oahu.
The $9.3 million project was constructed by F&H Construction, with offices in California and one on Maui, located along Wili Pa Loop in Wailuku. F&H’s construction of the two-story, 8,200 square foot building began in 2016 and was completed earlier this year, with media tours of the building scheduled for today along with a blessing on Friday.
“Absolutely, the law school is very pleased to have been working with F&H Construction,” said UH Law School Associate Dean Denise Antolini. “I’ve worked very closely with them since the beginning of this project – they’re very dedicated and solved many challenges. I have to give a shout out to Dan Blackburn (F&H Construction Hawaii Division Manager) and his crew, it’s been a really great a partnership.”
According to University officials the building was 13 years in the making and started with a vision from former Chief Justice William S. Richardson, who wanted to create a place where law students could help people in the community with their legal issues.
“Immigration law, elder law, child-custody cases, or landlord tenant or Native Hawaiian or environmental rights, this building will help us train them how to practice law to help community clients,” Antolini said. “It’s a very special mission.”
