San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge

Construction of a 65,000 square foot building that serves Caltrans. The building is strategically located to provide maintenance service to SFOBB East and West Span and all highway and bridges in the bay area. It also includes, natural gas filing station and Electric vehicle charging stations. The lighting fixtures in the project are high efficiency LED fixtures that are dimming and equipped with occupancy sensor controls. Most offices, crew rooms, and shop areas have views to the outside and utilize natural daylighting.

LEED Gold Certification:
The LEED Gold building serves as the new home for over a hundred employees and consolidates Bridge Maintenance, Vehicle-Mechanic Sub-Shop and is the administration office for field maintenance. The LEED Gold Certification was achieved by using non-potable recycled water for landscape and toilets.
