Lahainaluna High School Cafeteria

Lahainaluna High School was established in 1831 by the American Board of Commissioners of Foreign Missions. In 1849, it was transferred from a private mission seminary to a public institution of higher learning and a year later King Kamehameha III signed the act that put the school under direct control of the Hawaiian Monarchy. By 1964 only Lahainaluna graduates were considered qualified to hold government positions such as lawyers, teachers, district magistrates, and other important posts. Rich in tradition and culture, Lahainaluna today is one of only a few public boarding schools in the nation and is also the oldest high school west of the Mississippi River. F&H Construction is proud to be a part of the expansion of this prestigious high school. In 2003, F&H Construction completed the new library that enhances the learning experience of all students and most recently in 2011, we completed the cafeteria/multi-purpose building that can occupy up to 650 students.
